Dr. Sadi Kermani is a UCSF/UNLV trained orthodontist, a sculptor of smiles and a relentless innovator carving new pathways in the dental and orthodontic landscape.
His career has been a vibrant tapestry woven with groundbreaking ventures, a deep-seated belief in equitable access to care and an infectious passion for pushing the boundaries of orthodontics from serving underserved communities in New York City and the Bay Area California to revolutionizing clear aligners as one of the founding members of Candid, one of the leading aligner companies in the industry.
Dr. Kermani’s golden rule shines through – “love is the answer.” This credo manifests in his unwavering commitment to expanding access to quality treatment not just for the privileged few, but for everyone especially the underserved ones. His expertise transcends clinical expertise. He’s a visionary leader, having worked with industry giants and leaving a trail of positive disruption in his wake.
He is more than a skilled orthodontist – he’s a trailblazer, a champion for accessibility and a purveyor of joy both in and out of his office.. Even while shaping the future of orthodontics, his passion finds expression in his DJ persona. At friends’ gatherings, he transforms into a maestro of electronic and house music by adding a dash of his Persian heritage. He’s a living testament to the fact that innovation thrives on empathy and that a smile is not just a cosmetic outcome but a gateway to a healthier and happier life.
Dr. Kermani has over 20 years of experience in providing quality dental and orthodontic care to over 11,000 children and adults. He completed his undergraduate studies with honors at San Francisco State University majoring in physiology and went on to dental school at University of California, San Francisco graduating in 2003. Upon graduation he worked as a general dentist for 2 years and from 2005 to 2007 he attended University of Las Vegas, Nevada where he graduated as a Board certified orthodontist with a certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Currently he is a member of American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), California Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association (ADA) and California Dental Association (CDA).
He is a hands-on clinician who gives personal attention to every patient at each visit while considering a multidisciplinary approach such as airway, skeletal, periodontal and dental conditions in creating treatment plans that not only brings balance and harmony to the dentition but also creates aesthetically beautiful faces and confident smiles.
When Dr. Kermani isn’t busy transforming smiles, he finds tranquility in the sun-drenched embrace of the Bay Area. Nestled alongside his wife, Shiva, and their furry companion, Sheena. In his down time he enjoys DJing, playing tennis, snowboarding and traveling.
