SoulSmile Orthodontics

Technology

Technology has had a major impact on the advancements in orthodontic care and continues to develop. The technology we use at SoulSmile Orthodontics is designed to give our patients a better experience. Our team are experts at what they do and by using the latest in orthodontic technology, they are able to provide patients with the most accurate diagnosis and treatment plans.

Remote Monitoring

Remote monitoring is one of the most advanced technology in the field of dentistry and orthodontics with many benefits to our patients:

Drives compliance, checks treatment progress and detects issues early through closer supervision of treatment between appointments and automated next steps.

Optimizes chairtime by scheduling appointments at the right time and never walking into an appointment without knowing the most important information.

Boosts engagement and gives patients the convenience of connecting with our practice through the app,  sends instructions and friendly reminders as often as needed.

Digital Scanners

The iTero and 3shape Trios scanners are designed to replace the slower and less accurate methods for creating models of your smile. With digital scanners, the impression part of the treatment planning process is now more accurate and more comfortable than ever and you can say goodbye to messy molds!

The digital scanners use a handheld wand to scan and create 3D images of your teeth and jaw in just a few minutes. These images of your current smile are then used to create a customized treatment plan and guide your alignment goals throughout treatment to help you achieve your perfect smile. Additionally, we can use the 3D images generated from these scans to create a model of what your projected smile will look like once treatment is complete.

Cone Beam Computed Tomography, Panoramic & Cephalometric Radiography

Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), is a form of 3D digital imaging that goes above and beyond standard X-rays. During your scan, a cone-shaped beam will be moved around you to take images of your teeth, bones, soft tissues, and nerve pathways that are then put together to create a panoramic model. Having such a detailed layout of your skeletal pattern, airway volume, bite and overall oral health allows us to create a treatment plan that is perfectly tailored to your orthodontic needs.
